Rotten fish for Good Friday

I’ve always been a huge fan and supporter of all things WW, especially their foodstuff. But that is changing real fast - bought their caramel swiss rolls on 11/4, served it to guest on 12/4 and we found string and baking paper in a few DISGUSTING! Rushed out during my lunch break today (17/4) to get some baby peeled onions, got home and realized that not only did they over charge me (price R19.99, paid R22.99), but the sell by date was yesterday (16/4). Had no choice and started my pickled fish process, only to find that the 2 packs of fresh hake I bought, with a sell by date of 18/4, was smelling rotten - both packs !! Lucky I had a pack of hake fillets (frozen) and hubby was able to get more from our local Spa at 7pm tonight!!! I guess I’ll be getting up early tomorrow morning to finish baking fish so my family can enjoy pickled fish on Good Friday, no thanks to Woolworths. I don’t know what’s happening but it seems the likes of Checkers and Spa are outshining the WOOLWORTHS quality they used to be known for!!
