I just want to share by experience since I started buying groceries from Woolies as part of the Discovery Vitality Healthy living program. From day 1 my experience has been food that goes off before the expiry date and some even get vacuum packed to deceive customers. I alternate branches thinking the issue is the branch but nope, every store I shopped from will have something that goes off before the expiry date. It's just annoying as at times one is unable to return the product to the shop as it is encouraged to do so. I logged a complaint before when the strawberries went off and the excuse given was that they changes the supplier which still raises questions that 2 yrs later, I still finding fruits, veges, chicken fillets that go off. It is such a shame I must say
