****** at a Woolworths Store

I was held up and ****** at the Woolworths store in Sunningdale, Umhlanga, Durban. The guard at the store witnessed the incident and did absolute nothing. The store management's response is equally questionable. No help in calling the Police, Sunningdale Security etc by the Management of the store. The basic response to view camera footage in this situation was never offered. I am very disappointed by the response from Woolworths. I am in my 60's and would think that shopping at Woolworths in general would be a safe and comfortable experience - especially for older people in general . Today is almost a week and absolutely no response at all by Woolworths. What I lost is the least of my concern- I'm over that trauma now. I'm beginning to believe that for reputable stores this kind/type of incident is just another day at the office. Its exactly what I'm made to believe by all of this. I just want to warn especially older folk and the general public to be very vigilant in all stores. Do not let your guard down at all times. The time where you felt safe and protected in upmarket shopping centers are a thing of the past. I've come to accept this harsh reality.
