REVIEW OF KIDS BOOT PURCHASED

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a pair of kids' boots that I purchased from online Woolworths 12 months ago. 6 June 2023 to be exact. Unfortunately, the boots have significantly deteriorated within this short period, making them unwearable and posing potential safety concerns.

The primary issue with the boots is that they have developed a significant tear in the material, which is unacceptable given the short duration of use approximately 2 months of usage. Despite following the recommended care instructions, the boots have not held up to regular wear and tear that is typical for children's footwear. The tear not only compromises the functionality of the boots but also poses a safety risk for my child.

As a trusted and credible retailer, I expected the boots to be durable and of high quality, for atleast a number of years not months. Given the brand's reputation, this product's performance is disappointing and does not reflect the standards typically associated with the group.

More disappointing to have been mistreated by the staff at Vangate mall and the customer care service online, disregarding me as a Woolworths customer, treating me like an invalid, very disrespectful gives one a question of was I being mistreated because I am a black woman?

I kindly request a full refund or a replacement of the boots. Additionally, I would appreciate any insights into how the retailer plans to address such quality issues to prevent future occurrences.

I trust that Woolworths values customer satisfaction and will address this matter promptly. I look forward to a swift resolution and continuing to shop with confidence in the future.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely, Tabisa
