Returning Goods

Did you know that Woolies at Shelley Beach 'doesn't have the facilities' to take a piece of fluff off clothing being returned?<br> I went to the store last week to return 2 pairs of jeggings bought in Gauteng. When the dark denim pair was removed from the packet, the cashier muttered to herself for a while then showed me fluff on one of the legs. She said she couldn't accept the pants. I suggested that, even with an arm in a cast, I would manage to do it for her. She called the supervisor who sent her to speak to the manager. She was back in a flash and said they didn't have the facilities to remove the fluff. Again I offered to do it. No! I was also returning men's pants and realised I had the wrong till slip. No problem-the supervisor would make an exception. She had to calculate 10% of the price but, no one could manage that so we had a quick maths lit class, then subtracted R19.90 from R199.00. Too confusing because 9 had to be subtracted from 0! Another quick class on the back of my slip and then added the answer to R19.90 to see if I had it right. Had I not had to return the mens pants by 5 March I would have left and gone to Benoni or ER Mall on return to Gauteng
