RETURN POLICY ON SALE ITEMS

I bought a jacket on sale towards end of January in Tygervalley store. when I got home i realized that the jacket was not suitable for me. Yesterday I checked the return date on the slip it was 11/03/2017 and returned it to the store. I was told it was past return date since it was a sale item. I could not uderstand what the cashier meant because 11/03/2017 was in big and bold font. she asked me to look at the bottom of the slip and there was a small printed return date 31/01/2017. In my opinion the Sale item slips should not be the same as normal sale slip. the 2 dates are confusing. otherwise your staff must tell the customer at the point of sale that they must ignore the date at the top and only take note of the date at the bottom should they wish to return the item. I am long Woolworths customer i have never had an issue with your return policy. what should i do with a jacket i dont want ? I have an insurance with woolworths, not sure i want to stay as your customer anymore.
