Request for Claim Confirmation and Reference Number – Retirement Fund Withdrawal

I am writing to formally escalate my concern regarding the status of my withdrawal claim following my resignation from Woolworths. For clarity ,I submitted my resignation on 10 April 2026, with my last working day being 1 May 2026. I have been informed by Alexander Forbes that no claim has been received or registered on their side. During my discussion with Belinda, I was advised that the paperwork was allegedly submitted on 6 May 2026, however, no claim reference number can be provided as proof of submission. This is highly concerning. If the claim was indeed submitted, there should be: A claim/reference number, and Proof of submission to Alexander Forbes. The absence of both strongly suggests that the process has not been completed as indicated. I have been referred back and forth between departments without any resolution, which is unacceptable given the length of my service (18 years) and the importance of this matter. I require the following by close of business today: Written confirmation that the claim has been submitted, The official claim reference number, Proof of submission to Alexander Forbes, If this information cannot be provided, kindly confirm immediately so that I can escalate this matter directly with the appropriate senior channels. Please treat this matter with urgency, as it is now causing unnecessary delay in accessing and investing my funds.
