Refuse to exchange

I bought my daughter a white dress about a week ago, when I tried to exchange it at Woolworths Wonderpark they are saying the dress is dirty. I mean she only wore it to fit it, how can it get so dirty that they can't exchange it. The price tag is intact I have my till slip, I dont want a refund I want an exchange for heaven sake.
