Really bad service from Woolworths

Woolworths has always been, in my opinion, a respectable, trusted brand. Sadly, I no longer feel this way.

For the past 25 years I have been purchasing full briefs from the lingerie department. I used to be able to walk in, take a 3-pack (size small) off the rack, and go home knowing the product will fit. This is no longer the case as the "small" size is now actually the size the "medium" used to be and now that the sizing has been changed, there is no "extra small" to fill this void. It seems to me that WW changed their supplier and no-one in the quality control at WW has picked up that the new supplier has changed the sizing of the products they are now supplying to them. And this does not only apply to the ones I buy - a friend who also purchases from WW, albeit a different design, has found the same thing - she used to take a "medium" and now has to take a "small" which is the same size as the medium used to be! I wrote to Woolworths to express my dissatisfaction with this and eventually received a response which stated: "Our technologist has sent the following in response, we have not changed the measurements. Hip measurements for the cotton brief size S is 99cm to 103cm. We have a size guide available on the Woolies website, it specifies all the hip measurements for the different sizes." I wrote back to them and included photographs of my old size "small" briefs placed on top of the new size "small" briefs, including a photo of the two labels which were identical, and the difference in the sizing is quite astounding. That was on 15 January 2021. I received absolutely no response and again wrote to them on 26 February 2021 - six weeks after my previous email - and to date (almost another 2 weeks later) have still not received any response.

This is not what I expect from a company like Woolworths. It is abundantly clear that they just do not care about their customers - shame on them!!!
