Raw chicken from the woolies kitchen

Today I went to Woolworth in Woodmead to pick up a few things and some lunch. I purchased a bbq chicken leg from the rotisserie. After a few bites I realized that the chicken was beyond raw in the middle. When I called the store, I was told that the store manager was not in but the food manager would take my call. After hearing what had occurred, he asked me to drive back to the store with the chicken and he’d refund me my money. He was very relaxed about the situation and when I advised him that I was not able to leave work again to drive all the way back to the store for a refund he told me that was the only way he could help me. Eventually he took my number (but not my name) and said his manager would call me which has not happened. He said he’d speak with his staff and apologized at the end but I really don’t think you understand the dangers of consuming raw chicken. Woolworths, your goods do not come cheap and in exchange for our hard earned money we expect better than this. Better product, better service! I am so disappointed. My colleagues and I will be sure to consider the various other options in the retail park for our lunch and grocery needs. What a waste of time and money!!
