Racially profiled at WOOLWORTHS

To say I am livid would be an understatement! Today I was racially profiled at Woolworths Foods, in Davenport Durban by both the security guard and the store manager.

Me and my colleagues walked into the store after a long day at work and wanted to buy a few snacks for the weekend since it's Friday, 16/08/2024 as soon as we walked in the security guard followed us around after that the store manager went and stood by the door waiting for us!

After asking why we were being followed and other customers noticing and even asking why we were being followed the security guard told us he is doing his job by following us.

The store manager said every customer that walks into woolies gets followed which is a lie, because even in jam packed stores around the country where people can maybe can take the chance to ***** you never see security guards following customers around worse at Woolies!!!!

After that the security guard had the nerve to tell us that he doesn't care what we do because the 25th of this month would be his last day at work anyways!

Woolies is this how you now treat your customers? Do you now have a specific criteria of people that buy from your stores? And do we not fit that criteria? Do we look too poor to afford you?
