Hi I'd like to know if it is possible for a collections company to collect on pensioners? well my grandmother had an account with woolworths and it was being used by her grandson. she was not aware that he has been taking goods and not paying at the same time until she received letters of demand. she went to woolworth in maponya mall and explained that she's a pensioner and can only afford to pay R100 every month which she did pay. she later learnt that the account has been handed over to a collections company. she has been pay that R100 every month but the money that's outstanding increases every month.
