Quality problem and rude consultant

On the 2nd April 2018 I went to woolworths southgate to return boots that I bought on 17 March 2018, reason to return the boots is that my left boots is so small and uncomfortable when wearing them the right shoe is perfectly fine . I was assisted by Bernice Fleming to book them in to the specialist to check what couldbe the problem with one boot I was advised, and it’s not likely I’ll get refund she said as the shoes are not “sellable” since I wore them once. I asked how can I keep shoes I cannot use? I would need to exchange or refund she said they my boots I’ll have to keep them,if the report from their specialist confirms the boots are ok. I asked if the specialist will be using a machine or a human being she said a machine I asked how can that confirm the discomfort she said it will since I was the first customer to complain. I asked what’s considered quality problem she said sticking, belt loose etc, I asked so it should be only something That can be physically seen she said yes. To this day the 18 April since the complaint I haven’t got any feedback, call or even email from woolworths, I reported on their twitter page no response too, the service I received is Worst I have ever with woolworths, I have never received such service ever, I have recordings of the day when their consultant gave me the WORST service. My question is do I loose my money and get to keep shoes I cannot use since I was told it’s “my shoes” and they not sellable according to their consultant? I know woolworths as a passionately South African retailer dedicated to bringing quality, style and value, is that app**** to all? How many should complain or return the goods to be taken serious and even get feedback?
