Quality of the fresh prepared food

On Sunday afternoon I purchased a tuna slaw sandwich made fresh in the Woolworths Sandton food section. On Monday while heaving it for lunch to my surprise i found a rubber elastic band inside the sandwich. This is absolutely shocking, no quality check is followed in this food section. How can i trust buying freshly prepared items from Woolworts?
