Quality issue

To whom it may concern I purchased a shirt from woolworths , wore it the first time this Friday(09/10/20). Tag was removed that morning , Hadn't even washed it. Was shown by a friend that my shirt was torn at the back. Got home a had a look at it and noticed that the material is of poor quality and the rip just runs . This was definitely a factory reject . I went into the woolworths at the Glen mall and was told that they can't help me without the receipt and cannot look up the purchase on my card. The Manager on Duty by the name of Zanele Nyangiwe was not willing to assist , she had the audacity to tell me that the shirt I purchased for R450.00 is now worth 1 cent. I refuse to accept that a shirt purchsed for R450 and is a reject cannot be fully refunded .
