Pricing & quantity of foodstuff
WW customer for over 15 years,WW always guaranteed the best quality wrt to food and clothing and reasonable prices.Over recent years with the introduction of the store card as well as the aquiring of the international stores one has noticed a worrying trend :
1-Food items increase way above inflation e.g yoghurt digestives were priced at around R16 or R19 a couple of months ago , suddenly a huge spike in price and the boxes becoming smaller , same with pricing on white sauce from R23 .This is only two of the examples, many more.
2-Skip washing powder , Merba imported choc chip biscuits @ R31 whereas checkers checkers R23-R26 ,Colgate, Eggs why huge discrepancy in prices on products AVAILABLE widely.
3- WW supp**** WW branded clothing of good quality at a fraction of the price , Since the introduction of trenery , witchery etc , the quality of the WW brabnded goods have dropped all made in CHINA or SA but quality far below par to prior years. Are we paying the price for the premium paid on the aquisition of the Trenery etc .Its a shame as woolworths were reknown for their quality and reasonable prices.I now purchase many goods cheaper at other stores , a loss to WW
