Posh Pets Dog food exploded in my face

I recently purchased Posh Pets (Woolies brand) Chicken with rice dog food, as I have been doing for 5 years +. I buy it weekly as it's the only soft food I buy for my dog. The expiry date is in 2024 and was stored in my food cupboard but on lifting the tab, the can exploded in my face and sent sauce and chunks flying all over my kitchen. Some of it went into my left eye and was burning badly for the rest of the day. A lot of the remaining food bubbled out of the can and the smell is horrific. I went back to the store the following day and all the chicken with rice cans were either removed or sold. To date, I have only been given the runaround I will not support Woolworths food anymore.
