Poor/Pathetic Customer Service from Woolworths Polokwane
I went to a Woolworths Store in Polokwane CBD and their service was pathetic, I went in looking for school uniform for my kids and all the consultant wwere just look at us without offering to help, but to my amu*****t they all stood in groups on the sales floor chatting to one another. I had to go up and down looking for sizes while they just stood there chatting. I eventually got the sizes I was looking for which was 2 × pants and shirts and I asked the Ladies in Customer Service Department to keep them aside for me because I didn't get everything I wanted, therefore I was going to check if I could find the girls shirt at Edgars and they still refused to hold those pants for me telling me that due Covid 19 they're not allowed to hold anything aside, I told them that I 'm just going to check something outside and I will definitely be back, eventually they refered me to put them on a rail which I did and this was between 14h00 and 15h00 pm. When I came back at exactly 16h55 pm to pay for my clothes I've requested them to put aside, I found that they've taken my clothes back to the sales floor and mind you they're only closing the store at 17h30, therefore they could have waited for me to see if I was going to come back or not but they didn't even bother. I spoke to the Store Manager and asked her why would they do that and take my clothes out because I sincerely requested them to be put aside as I was coming back, she told I can look for them on the sales floor as they're not allowed to put anything aside. I asked her why wouldn't they give me benefit of doubt to see if really I was going to come back and she still referred me to Covid 19. Now my question is: Is this how you Guys treat your customers? Really, should we go buy at Savannah or Mall of the North to get service? Do your staff even get training for customer service or do they even know what is customer service? Yes I know Covid 19 has too many restrictions, but taking my clothes out even before the store can close? The store had 35 munites before they could close and yet I"m been treated like I"m nothing? Economic situation is tough out there and yet you Guys don't even care about customer service, who's going to support you if you treat us like that? Every little cent count a lot in this tough time. Next time you treat your customers poorly remember you chasing 100 customers away because poor customer service travels faster than good service.
