Poor service
I would like to share to very bad experience I had at Westgate from Nthabiseng Mabote. My sister layby clothes for my niece worth R1405 and she paid R300, I went to Woolies to pay the R1100 left so I can have the clothes as they are both stuck in Limpopo because of lockdown . The cashier told me it's not possible but she will refer it to his supervisor Nthabiseng. She did not bother to greet me or acknowledge me as a customer, she just went like" I'm sorry but my process says... " I was stunned by her attitude and I asked if I can explain why I needed the clothes, of which she rep****" are you going to listen to me or not? " I let her continue to tell me about her processes and I again tried to explain that the child has no winter clothes and I just want to sent the clothes with someone with a permit going to Limpopo, but she interrupted me again and said that" thats your personal issue and it has nothing to do with me, ill consider you only once the layby has expired" and asked me why did you let your sister do the layby anyway, how was I to know that lockdown would be imposed at the end of March ? I ended up paying the R1100 and leaving the R5 difference because they can't give me the clothes. I can understand about processes, but nothing qualifies you to stamp your rudeness and treat customers with such disdain and be dismissive to customers. I need Woolies to tell me if this is their way of addressing customer, and if so, then I will shop at a different shop
