Poor service at Woolworth Carnival Mall

Over the weekend I bought socks at Wollies, my size for that matter. Upon fitting the socks at home were big. I returned the socks for an exchange or refund at Carnival Mall. The store store refused to take the socks back or exchange because the package is now damaged and the socks were worn. I took my size and only discovered after fitting that the socks do not fit, without wearing how would I have known? I am disappointed because the shop keepers failed to noticed a factory fault here. I am not the first one to complain about uneven socks from Woolies. On Sunday at Woolies trade one lady returned socks for her kids for the same reason; one socks was big and the others we small. I feel violated that in as much as I tried reasoning with them I was the crazy one. I would have appreciated if they had taken the socks and sought advise from the head office but here I even had to fight to get staff members name. At first they acted as they were doing me a favour to give me their names. I am disappointed at how both Nokuthula Madonsela and Vulambi Maluleke treated me and dealt with this matter.
