Poor quality shoes

I bought the attached shoes at one of your quality sales in NONESI mall, Queenstown, if I recall correctly, last year.

Regrettably the shoe broke. I need to mention that I do not wear it frequently as my dress code for work is black and white or navy.

I could not find the receipt. I usually keep receipts but this particular receipt I cannot find.

I approached the above mentioned store on 30 January to advise them of the damaged shoes. This clearly is a quality issue. I do not need the slip. I was informed by the manager, of I recall correctly Ms Mbedele, that regrettably there's nothing they can do for me as the system only goes back six months so they cannot retrieve the item and due to the fact that the style code is not noticeable on the item and further the shoe was bought on sale (what does this has to got with anything).

I fail to understand why Woolworth's attitude is that there is nothing they can to assist me because I do not have a receipt anymore and the item was bought on sale.

I buy Woolworths for quality. I do not buy clothing from Woolworths because it will turn to ******* within a year.

I have to note that this is now not the first time that I bought defective quality shoes from Woolworths within this year and all 3 pairs were bought from NONESI mall Woolworths. Luckily the other two pairs were taken back simply because I still had the receipt because the items were purchased this year.

I am very unhappy about the poor customer service I received from the store. They could see that the shoe is still in good condition and that it was indeed bought from Woolworths.

I would imagine from a business that thrives on good customer service and good quality something more could have been. If you cannot give me back my money present options to me to accommodate me with the poor quality product purchased eg like offering me a voucher to purchase something else from the store or even offer me a different pair of shoes to make up for the poor quality I purchased from them.

What am I suppose to do with shoes that I cannot wear because it is broken?
