Poor quality potatoes and meat

On 24 September I purchased a bag of potatoes and some lamb for a potjie. I was very disappointed in the potatoes that would not soften in spite of a sticker indicating that it was a floury type. That can only mean one thing namely that they were refrigerated for a long time. Four days after I purchased them they in fact started sprouting - an indication that the potatoes were not fresh.<br> <br> The lamb was another disappointment although I did not buy any but chose to go to Checkers nearby where I found beautiful lamb for a potjie. The lamb at Woolworths was of such inferior quality.
