Poor customer service

After gym i stopped at Somerset mall and was starving. I decided to grab a healthy salad at Woolworths. 2 @ R80 the Bulgar wheat salads. I paid grabbed a fork and wanted to sit down at the cafe in store for 5 minutes just to eat 1 salad. I asked the hostess if i could just grab a seat and eat she said No the cafe is only for people buying food at the cafe. The Woolworths cafe is in the Woolworths store and i bought the salad at Woolworths food. There was maybe 1 couple in the cafe i was not taking up space at all. There was no line to enter the cafe as if i were going to ***** a seat from a cafe eating person. Also a small woolies salad was going to take 2minutes to gulp down, i just did not want to walk and eat. She called her manager to which the manager too said NO cafe eating customers only. I was appalled, i was not bringing outside KFC to eat in a Woolworths cafe, it was a Woolworths food salad to quickly eat before i continue my errands. I was absolutely starving the conversation took longer than me eating there. The staff was unfriendly, not accommodating at all and as a South African brand i was extremely disappointed in how they handled a very simple situation. i would have understood if the cafe was full. It was a random Tuesday morning and the cafe was empty. I did not even need their cutlery. Poor customer service.
