Poor customer service
Dear Customer Service Team,
I am writing to follow up on my complaint regarding an incorrectly weighed product, which I originally reported on 14 April 2026. Your team acknowledged receipt of my concern on the same day.
As someone who works in the food service industry, I understand that investigations and traceability processes take time, and I intentionally allowed sufficient time for your team to complete the necessary checks.
On 28 April 2026, I was informed that something may have gone wrong during the product's weighing process. I was further advised that I would receive a voucher for the value of the item within 3–5 working days.
When I had still not received the voucher, I followed up again on 4 May 2026. Your team apologised for the delay, confirmed that the matter would be escalated to the relevant department, and followed this up in writing.
Today is 11 May 2026, and I have still not received the promised voucher or any further communication regarding this matter.
I raised this concern not only because of the product's value, but also because product pricing is based on portion weight, and accurate weighing is essential for consumers. I carefully monitor my calorie intake and, while I would prefer to trust the labeled weight without verifying it myself, this incident made that difficult.
I have always respected Woolworths for its quality standards and attention to detail, which is why I felt it important to bring this to your attention. As a loyal customer, I expect that products sold to consumers accurately reflect their stated weight and that commitments made during customer service resolutions are honoured.
I would appreciate your urgent assistance in resolving this matter and in confirming when I can expect the promised reimbur*****t.
Kind regards,
Peter Martin
