Poor Customer Service
Woolworths seems to have lost what it means to provide customer service. On top of that they seem unable to manage their accounts and who they grant credit too. What is more scary they do not seem to have the correct details for their store cardholders either. For more than a year now each time …. Esselaar falls behind in payments on their Woolworths store card I receive a text message … each and every single day from + ********** ********** 00... and an associated range of numbers....until they make good on their payments. I have informed Woolworths and now more recently the CEO of Financials Services... more than 3 times over the past year and more and yet they still fail to take steps to contact the person who DOES in fact owe them money or to correct their incorrect details. I called in twice today to contact the CEO's office and the switchboard operators stalled my calls. Erica and Colleen are very loyal to Woolworths. So CEO's are not available to fix outstanding, unresolved problems. In addition someone called Anita is supposed to take these calls but is never available to do so. The third time I called in she was travelling in her car. So, in my view, and after these unrelenting messages my recommendation to those of you out there is NOT to have any Woolies cards unless you wish your personal information to be unduly compromised. It is my view that Woolies are unable to manage your personal details adequately. I think its time to find a supermarket where good customer service IS regarded as key, and where private information pertaining to customer accounts are not disclosed to unknown others … and without your permission to do so.
