Poor customer interaction and unable to cater for procative clients with finance chalenges
I have recently been unemployed and I contacted woolworths to check if they cater for clients like myself for a special payment plan or extended payment period due to my financial instability, inorder to avoid my account going into arreas. Firstly I was pushed from pillar to post and had to explain myself to every consultant ...at one stage they just cut me off after being about 12 minutes on the call that im paying for...they appear to be like robots and show no empathy given the situation. I was told a payment plan could ONLY be arrainged once the account goes into default...in other words in arears after being handed over to their legal department. As a proactive client calling in for assistance ..im told there is no assistance....not even an extended payment period. I think Wollies have lost the plot in terms of costomer centricity and retension and I promise once my account is paid off , I WILL CLOSE my account ...another lost customer.... Well done Wollies. I also have an account with the TFG and and had to call them for the same request and have to admit that their profeshionalism, understanding, compassion and emphaty was exceptional and they offered me an extended payment plan which will reduce my instalment. I always thought Wollies was a far superior retail group but im now convinced that they lack the basics....listen to your customer and look close at your falling ratings Wollies.
