PAYSLIP NOT GOOD ENOUGH

I am VERY saddened by my experience with Woolworths at this time. I have been a CASH customer as woolies for a number of years. I have recently decided to open an account with Woolworths, because of the convenience and savings when paying with a store card. I app**** for an account and qualified for a credit limit of R8000. After doing a telephonic quoation and validation, i was told to email my proof of income (which was 3 payslips) to them which i did.

I was then sent an email that my payslips did not meet the requirements. I then made another phone call requesting an explanation from them. The lady informed me that they do not accept payslips that is in word format and asked me if it was indeed in word format. I then told her, i do not know in which format, as i get a PRINTED payslip with the company's rubber stamp on it. I then just scanned and faxed my last 3 payslips to them. She told me it was not accepted.

My questions: 1. Why do I get discriminated against because of the FORMAT in which i receive my payslip? 2. If they are doubting, why do they not CONTACT the company and confirm employment.

I Have been working at this company for FIVE AND A HALF YEARS. I do not commit ***** when i send my payslips. I have recently bought A CAR TO THE VALUE OF 160K and my payslips was accepted, but Woolworths denies my payslips because of the FORMAT, but they do not care to INVESTIGATE if it is true of false.

I am not very happy and will surely not buy a THING from them again if this is their attitude and ************** agains shoppers.
