Payment of 5 June 2020 not reflecting
I've paid on 5th June 2020 an amount of R230.00, this was for May which was more then my instalment of R195.95. I am working at a Medical facility so I've decided to to do the EFT. I could have been asymptomatic, there I've opted to pay this way for the 1st time from my Nedbank app. I received calls at work saying that I am in arrears. I told them look, I've paid and I have the proof on my app. The gentleman gave me a whatsapp number, I mistakenly threw the paper away. On the 5th of July I went to the Baywest Mall after sending proof of payment. I confidently approached the teller, paid my instalment JUNE 2020, I had a few garments and bought a gift voucher. The teller informed me "Mam, your account is in arrears, in order for you to purchase the goods, you'll have to pay an additional instalment. As we all know the interest in Woolworths accounts are high.
I was shocked and it was embarrassing, infront of other shoppers and my friend.
I RETRIEVED MY phone from my handbhandbag, went onto my app and showed the teller. It's not her job to allocate payments that was done via EFT.
I've send 3 e-mails this week so that this story could be sorted out. Damn!!!! I received my statement now, as in now. The R230.00 still doesn't reflect anywhere. I am highly irritated with this situation. Please do not blame covid for this. It's unacceptable.
