Pathetic service and no customer service from Woolworths Clearwater

<p>I follow the share price of Woolworths closely and see how retail figures are down, but i'm amazed how one can stand with the money in the hand and not be able to buy from Woolworths.</p> <p> </p> <p>Mid January 2017 i went to the Woolworths Clearwater branch looking for formal pants. I found what i wanted but not my size. I've asked staff how i can order so they can get for me through an Inter Branch Transfer (IBT). I was told to write my details in a black hard cover book that was falling apart with pieces of pages torn out. 3 Weeks later I went back and asked what happened to may order and no surprise, they couldn't find my order. I called the Manager and he promised to improve their system.</p> <p> </p> <p>On the 5th of February I went back, found the pants style, and asked one of the staff (Mpho) to order it for me. This time i stood with her and made sure she loaded it directly on the system. Today i went back as i haven't heard anything, 19 days later. I found Mpho and first she asked me 'why do you come to the store this time of night' as it was 10 min before closing time. She asked me if anyone phoned me. She then tried to find my order on the system and told me it's not her job to follow up on IBT's but the back store room people. Nothing was done again. She even mixed up my order on the screen with the pervious woman's order having ordered dresses. I had to call the duty manager again and asked her how it's possible for a store not to find any in almost 2 months. The duty manager then found 2 on the system in the Clearwater store, still 2 short from the 4 i've ordred. The manager also confirmed it's the person placing the IBT's job to follow up. Mpho showed minimum interest in my order and didn't even apologize for lying about responsibilities.</p> <p> </p> <p>I always held Woolworths in high regard but with such bad procedures and such lack of customer service the retail figures will just continue to get worse and worse.</p>
