OVER DEDUCTION ON PERSONAL LOAN

I chose to settle my loan so paid an amount of R5K which reflected on my account on the 9th October. On the 10th October Woolworths deducted R1,025.32 from my cheque account as the "installment". This meant that they had R1,025.32 MORE on my account putting my account in Credit. On the 15th October they then deducted R143.26 interest - HOW DO YOU DEDUCT INTEREST ON AN ACCOUNT THAT IS IN CREDIT???????????????????

When I called about this I spoke to Dante who confirmed that this was an error on Woolworths side and said the full amount of R1,025.32 would be refunded to me. I phoned a week later and spoke to another consultant who advised that she could see on my profile that the refund had been requested by Dante.

It is now over a month later and STILL NO REFUND FROM WOOLWORTHS!!!!

What I find highly irritating is that they are quick to chase YOU if you owe THEM money but when THEY owe YOU they find it acceptable to leave you hanging for over a month.

Now not only do I want the full R1,025.32 that they deducted incorrectly from my cheque account - I want the R143.26 that they charged me as interest TOO.
