Our favourite store is doing me wrong

I app**** for a store card with this retail store since September in the beginning and to date hereof i have not received the store card. I was initially told I would be able to pick it up at a store near me then I was told the card was issued and on its way to me via registered post to my residential address then I was told there was some sort of delay and they will give me a temporary card which expires in 30 days and I would need to get another temporary card for further 30days if the original card has still not arrived in the post at my place of residence.

Now this store is saying they will send the card in 10-15 days and attach a list of stores for me to pick which one I can collet the card from and none of the stores are anywhere near me meaning I should go all the way to a mall in another town just to get the card. Meanwhile I need to make payment on the account because I used the temporary card here and there but after I pay now I cannot buy again because I do not have the card in my possession but I need to pay lest I be labelled a bad payer!

I am really unhappy as I intended to use the card for my daughter's birthday.
