Off tasting Rib Chops!

I purchased rib chops from Woolworths at the Jean Crossing Centurion on the 22 Nov at 11:57. When I had opened it i got a little bit of a smell, and had thought it was just because i had opened it that it had a smell and left it to rest then later marinated the meat thinking that Woolworths meat and quality will never be bad and it was my imagination! To my surprise after braaiing the meat the taste was terrible! the fat had a very horrible taste and texture to it that left an awful taste in your mouth, I could taste the meat was not fresh! We had 6 pieces in the pack and had to throw them all away, the chops was R102.65, which was a waste! i lodged a complaint today and called the woolies call center, the lady said to me that she is not guaranteeing that anything will happen because i did not have the bar code and packaging that the stale meat came in! i wasn't going to dig in my bin to get this and find that ridiculous. I saved the slip and i have that as proof that i had purchased the meat. being a foody and always purchasing my products from Woollie Im very disappointed especilly when i was told \ shes not guaranteeing anything will happen"! ref ***"""
