Not accepting my passport or driver's license as proof of ID for a new credit card after *******

Hi I recently got ****** and all my bank cards including my ID card was taken. I ordered a new woolworths card but the person told me that I need a new ID card to get 1(I am sure you know it takes months to get a new ID at home affairs). I told her I have my drivers license and passport and can provide those as identification. I even can produce an affidavit attesting to the fact I was ******. This is a very illogical policy by woolworths.
