nonsense service,

So I bought shirts at woolworths Irene Mall on the 1/02/2021. I was buying them for my son but they were too short, and I let my daughter try them on as well and they were too long for her as they are for boys. I since kept them because of time and forgetting to take them back to exchange. I since bought shirts for my son because I found them elsewhere but I couldn't find shirts for my daughter, I decided I will go and exchange. My daughter unknowingly threw away the packaging but kept the sleep. Today @1:30 I had the time and went to exchange the for girls shirts , the cashier called Mapula Madihlaba was assisting me, she asked where the packaging was and I told her I don't have, I wasn't aware it was missing at that point. I called my daughter and she told me she threw it away. Mapula then told me that ( she was told) that the one shirt is dirty and she can't help me to exchange without the packaging since it was boys shirts and I am trying to exchange them with girls shirts. I told them it doesn't make sense , she called her "manager" named Ncumisa Mama. they continued with the nonsense story that because they need the packaging to send it back,. 1 , It is not my business that they need the packaging because the packaging is a Woolworth packaging , it is not like the products are from a different brand.i have the slip, you can see the shirt was never worn. we have seen clothes at Woolworths very dirty. My time was wasted today and I have decided I don't want to buy my shirts from there anymore. I wasn't my money back. the law says if I don't want it anymore and I have never worn it , I can return. I am a customer and it seems this 2 individuals know nothing about customer service I want my money and an apology I will go to another shop that appreciates me as a customer. what frustrates me more is that I wasn't asking for money back. I was asking for exchange. I left the shirts there because I have no use for them.
