Non recyclable packaging

Given the enormity of Woolworths, you would expect their plastic to be recyclable. All their packaging for their nuts, dried fruit, lentils, beans, chickpeas, etc are in plastic bags that are not recyclable. They need to make a difference in the environment as well considering they use the same suppliers as other retail stores for packaging (incident of listeriosis) yet their prices are inflated compared to other retailers.
