No Support for Replacement Power Cable – Expensive Woolworths Electric Blanket Now Useless

Although I have no wish to denigrate the Woolworths brand, I’m disappointed by the lack of support we've received around a very simple — yet crucial — issue. We purchased a high-end electric blanket from Woolworths, which has been great… until the power cable was misplaced.

We reached out to the Woolworths call centre, who referred us to the Sandton branch. The branch acknowledged our request but has since gone silent. Despite several follow-ups, no one has been able to assist us in sourcing a replacement cable — a highly specialised part not available in-store or online.

It’s frustrating that such an expensive product now sits unused, simply because we cannot get hold of a replacement cord. All we are asking is guidance on how to order or purchase the cable — even if it needs to be imported or ordered via supplier.

I’m posting here because, sadly, this often prompts a response when all other avenues fail. We still believe in the brand — but this needs urgent attention.
