No resulution after two weeks.

What has happened to Woolies customer care? Over many years of my mainly asking about scarcity or disappearance of favourite foodstuffs, my recent experience has been unprecedented.and somewhat bizarre.

On 28 August I reported an apparent double pricing error with a bag of French Shallots, which I only noticed when I got home. (I actually wanted loose Shallots, but they've been out of stock for weeks.) I described the problem carefully, along with three photographs that I took on my next store visit. I received a reply four days later, on 1 September, which is about par for a Woolies reply these days. But it seemed to misunderstand the problem. It said they were sorry about my being "disappointed" with the product, and that it would be referred to the buyer.

So the same day I rep**** with a clarification. But I've not had any further reply, despite my reminder emails on 4th and 8th. I still have the unopened bag and I've not been compensated for paying significantly more than the marked price. It has now been two weeks since my purchase and first email.

Hmm. Perhaps prompted by my post here, I received an email from a different Woolies "Customer Srrvice" address on 17 September, saying that my "case had been resolved". And asking that I "contact again". So I did as instructed. Multiple times. Result? Nil. Nada. Zilch. Naught. 12 days later. Seems the new address has taken over the ignore role.

Another nine days, and still no reply from either customer email address.. Although my notification about the double pricing mistake has been corrected on the shelf. Truly bizarre.
