No refund/exchange for sale goods

Hey guys, I just want to warn you against purchasing ANYTHING from Woolworths on sale. A few weeks ago my mom and I went shopping at Woolworths and got a whole bunch of goodies for baby. Now we got lots of lovely girly stuff cause that's what we were expecting. Now fast forward to last week monday, we learn that we are now in fact having a boy!! Oh well at least we know we can take the goodies back and swop for goodies or a voucher. But NOOOOOOO Wollies will not take back the lovely goodies we bought - that STILL have the tags on etc....On top of everything, the rude lady at the Cradlestone Mall branch, made the situation worse by litterally flinging the goods back at me when we went to exchange yesterday. I promptly burst into tears and left the store, my poor husband and teenage daughter had to grab the goods and come find me. My mom went back to Woolies today to try and come to some resolution. They are adamant that they will not take the goods back. According to them the items fall off the system and do not exist anymore. I even called the call centre for help, same answer. I have looked at the CPA act and I can't find anything that says they can't refund us. So WOOLWORTHS you can take your stinky ****py attitude - I don't think that my dear boy who is due in December will be clothed in anything that you sell. Your policies suck and are in no way helpful. I am so sorry I took too long to find out the gender of my unborn child and took too long to come change things - you see one does not always get the gender correct when they go for the earlier scans! Maybe I should sell the stuff to my gyne who made the mistake in the first place?
