No proof of a camera footage at the till point

It was on the 16/03/2017 at between 11:10 and 15 I went to withdraw money at the Absa Atm at the Valley Centre, Graighall Park I had my Huawei P8 lite cell phone with my black purse which is bigger than the cell phone, I withdrew the money, left the machine with both the cell and the purse and went to Woolworths which is few steps away from the ATM, since I was on lunch and had limited time, I went straight to first shelve where I took a Greek salad, and went to isle that lead to the till point.

I went to the vacant till point number 6 to make the payment at that time I had my cell and the purse together in one hand I paid for the salad, I then looked for the plastic fork that’s usually in the counter, I did not find the fork at the till point I was in, I then found one on my way out it was at the small coffee area . my work office is about 5 minutes to 10 minutes walk away from woollies, when I got to the work kitchen I realise that I no longer had the cell phone. I went back to woollies to check if I have not left the cell there when I was paying, they said they did not find it, I requested the manager to assist by checking the store video footage , the till point I know till points are the most important area where there’s cameras working all the time.

The managed first advised me that, he is not fami**** with the cameras that are at the shop, he will try to assist, he fiddled with the camera and found a footage of me walking in the isle having a purse and the salad, he said since he sees the purse, it means I had no cell with me, he then indicated that I may have left the cell on the shelve when I was taking the salad, since he is not fami**** with the footage there is some guy who knows how to operate it and is not at the shop at that time, he will ask for his assistance and call me back, the only answer that he has is that I could have left it at the shelve maybe one of the customer had took it.

All I needed was to check if I had forgotten it when making a payment or left it at the shelve. I would gladly accept that the phone has been taken by someone else/ another customer or disappeared from my hand.

The manager called me the next day at around 10am with a feedback, his feedback was insisting that I did not have the phone, he has one footage only, when I asked about the till points camera he said, they do not have the cameras working at the till points, and there was no camera at the shelves as well, I was shocked to learned that this particular woollies does not have a camera at the most important part of the store. He also said guy that he hoped could assist with the cameras at the shop did not come to work. His final word was I did not have the phone..

This poses a question of how sure he is about me not having my cell phone when I got to the shop.

I event went to the centre security guard, whom I requested a footage of me withdrawing the money before going to woollies, the security, gladly assisted, the footage was found, it showed me carrying my cell on one hand and the other the purse and it also showed that, I left nothing on the ATM after the withdrawal before walking to woollies.

How do I believe that, I did not leave anything at woollies at all, since there are no cameras at the most important parts of the store I do not wish to deal with the store manager, he showed no empathy, not keen to get help in assisting,
