Mistaken Identity Victimisation

Dear Woolworths

First of all, let me congratulate you on your customer service. Your consultants are pleasant on the phone, they give the impression that they will do their best to assist you and they give you a nice, fuzzy feeling of "thank goodness, everything will be better now". Unfortunately, this is an impression only.

Your tame money collectors, MBD, have been contacting me about a supposed credit card debt since December 2016. During December 2016 and January 2017 I have managed to convince them that the e-mail address they had on file was an incorrect one. Problem sorted.

Uhm...nope.

As of the start of September, MBD has made my life a living hell. They are victimising and terrorising me for a supposed Woolworths credit card debt. They phone me at all hours, they are rude to me when I tell them that it is a case of mistaken phone number and that their tracking company isn't worth a ******'s ****.

I used to be Karen Jordaan and from a lifetime of experience I can tell you with cer*****y that we are legion. Go do an internet search for Karen Jordaan and you will see that there are enough to make the mind boggle. Yet, your tame collectors have decided that this is me.

I have been embarrassed, infuriated and humiliated. I have used my own money to make multiple phonecalls to both Woolworths and MBD. It is unfortunately, it seems, a case of guilty until proven innocent. Your lovely, sweet customer service assistant at the credit card division had assured me a week ago that MBD would not phone me again as they would be informed that they had the wrong person.

Nope.

Now, what I want to know from you is, how do you propose to fix this? How will you reinstate my good name and my credit records that had been blemish-free since adulthood. How will you reimburse me for my time and my costs expended in trying to fix this? Or do I need an attorney - which will cost me even more money?

I await your response with bated breath.
