Misleading customers

I shopped at Woolworth's East Rand Mall on Saturday April 11th at about 2pm and spotted a poster saying that if I shopped there I would get \free"parking. This felt like a \""bonus\"" and I proceed to have my ticket \""redeemed\"" by presenting my till slip to the information counter.
Upon leaving the parking I discovered that the boom did not open for me.
I complained to the parking management who proceeded to tell me that they have repeatedly asked Woolworth's to change their poster to say that this was meant for the outside parking only and NOT the underground parking. I then had to go back to my car (inconveniencing waiting traffic) to fetch R8 from my car. I had to leave my daughter in the car whilst doing this and had to cross two traffic lanes. I nearly got knocked over by a boom. To me this is false advertising and is inexcusable. I feel very angry since it appears that the Mall management have repeatedly asked the store to change their sign offering the \""free\"" parking and quite obviously there have been many others who suffered the same fate. The matter is not one of saving R8.00 but the blatant lie on behalf of Woolworth's. """
