Messed up Mince

On the 3rd of Feb 2024 I bought a pack of Free Range beef mince from the Engen Herm**** Convenience Centre which has a Woolworths convenience incorporated into the operation. Living far from convenience stores mean a cooler box with lots of ice, is always in the car when we go shopping. As almost everyone's knows, not breaking the cold chain is essential when working with cold foods. So on ice and under ice, went the mince into the box. Home is roughly 50 min from Herm****. At home, it goes straight into the fridge. Later same day, when the mince had to be utelized, it turns out the bottom part of the mince had largely discoloured to a brownish grey. I immediately took photos of the meat as well as the label which indicates the expiry date as today, the 5th. One buys at Woolworths not necessarily because you can but some things need to be super fresh and as clean as it possibly can. And not be ROTTEN! At the Price! Unacceptable.
