Lost phones matter dealt with poorly

Good evening, My name is Nnana I went to woolworths Sandton city yesterday around 18:25 did my shopping I was with my kids and my mother-in-law, later as I was about to leave I checked for my phones and guess what they stole them I spoke to one of the ladies who's a security guard she took my details and told me they'll call me today then nothing.

Around 10:30 today I went back asked and my phones are not by the control room cause she told if they are found I'll get them there, cool I get to the control room around 11 they asked me what time I got to the store the day before I provided the info they told me they gonna check the camera and what I was told after shocked me. I was told they can't see me cause where I waliked the camera didn't capture me and they asked what I time I left I told them around 19:20 and they only saw the one which I appeared later by the coffee shop which was the second time I went back to search for my phones. Sydney told me that he will try and get the footage for me only if I open a case and he will give that to the police, I'm broken cause I waited till 1:10 with my baby for nothing cause I left the store with more questions than answers.

I had an iPhone 8 plus and a 6plus with my driver's licence when I walked in only to leave with my heart broken. Why didn't the lady take me to control room then maybe at this moment I would have my phones and licence.

I wish this matter had been resolved better.
