Lost my id and Fica documents

Woolworths phoned me a couple of times convincing me to take out a credit card with them. I send them all my documents and they arranged to drop of my card at my house but they requested me to send them a copy of my Id and proof of residence with the courier again. After two weeks I phoned them and request a statement they then informed me that a R50 payment was due immediately and that they spelled Yahoo wrong and that is the reason I did not received a statement yet, I then went and paid the R50 and asked them to send me a statement. Last night I tried to use my credit card at Pick a Pay and it was declined. I PHoned them early this morning to ask why the card was declined and they informed me the card is blocked because they did not received my Fica Documents, So in other words they lost my private documents and if somebody commit Identity ***** with my documents I am holding Woolworths responsible! ! I wanted to cancel the card but I was informed that I stil owe R109 on the card. I requested a statement again and did not receive ANYTHING
