Lost gift card saga

Purchased a gift card at the Woolworths Birkenhead Store in Melkbosstrand. Lost the gift card but then went back to the shop with the slip as I wanted them to cancel the gift card and then issue me with a new one. The Store Supervisor assisted with filling in the form and sending it through to Gift card department for re-issue. She said that within two days I will get an sms with my new gift card number. It is now 2 weeks later and still no sms received.
