Lay-by less and disappointed

I am a pensioner and I am writing this with a disappointed heart. Woolworths Attlyn unfortunately shut down and I was informed that my Lay-by item could now be paid for and collected at Woolworths Quaggas Centre.

To my dismay Woolworths Quaggas Centre advised me that they had sold the boots that I had put on lay-by and no longer had stock of these at any other branch. My heart was shattered as I had chosen those boots specifically for the comfort and fit, especially for a pensioner of my age. It had only been one month and this month I was to pay and collect this. I am disappointed in Woolworths Quaggas Centre for this disservice and would further like to add that this was never experienced when we had a Woolworths at Attlyn. Woolworths Quaggas Centre staff need to be re-trained on customer care and service so as to not cause any further damage to the Woolworths brand. This was truly disappointing.

With the closure of the Attlyn branch, we as pensioners have found ourselves wanting without a Woolworths that is close to us. It would truly be a benefit if the Attlyn branch could be brought back to us
