Lady in crutches

I just came back from Woolies Maponya mall and I'm in awe at how the management there does not make provision for disabled, elderly and pregnant people.

I was there to buy a birthday cake for my son and had to stand in a long queue for 20-25 mins as only two tills were open, regardless of the fact that I use a crutch as walking support.

The manager on the floor came and saw that I had crutches and was almost at the tail of the queue (with an elderly lady in front of me), but chose to take the 2 young men behind me to go pay at empty tills at the clothing side.

I am not requesting for any special treatment but I find it rather insensitive that someone would give normal people special preferrences and leave those who has visually evident difficulties in standing in long queues. Other woolies in other areas are far more customer friendly in such cases and Maponya has just always been this poor at delivering preferable customer experience (speaking from also when I was HEAVILY pregnant and had to quickly pop in there to urgently buy a thing or two and had to stand in a long queue).
