Lack of staff training & poor service

I was at Woolworths Walmer Park yesterday afternoon. I specifically came in to buy Small Freezer Bags (Woollies brand) and the ariel capsules - the latter advertised as being on special.<br> <br> Firstly, I was in the aisle for the Ariel Capsules and only spotted the 21 pack size but asked for the 14 pack size as the latter was advertised as being on special. The gentleman that I asked did not know THOUGH it was right by where he was standing. Fine, he shows me the product after asking his colleague. There were no price tags on the shelves. I asked him what is the price as I wanted to double check that I will pay the special price. I mentioned about the special and he was clueless.<br> I decided to take the product and would ask at till. I asked about the small freezer bags and again he was clueless. In short, he could not help me and when I asked to speak to the manager, I was told they are all in a meeting.<br> At the till, I asked the lady for the price of the ariel capsules and it rang the normal price. I mentioned about the special and she just look with blank face to me. did not offer to check if it is on special.<br> <br> I think the service level is declining in that store.
