Just because I get paid in cash now Woolworths can't finalize my application

Why does Woolworths not accept salary verification letters from employers if you get paid in cash. Lots of big companies accepts it. I was approved but now they can't finalize my application because of bank statements!!! Which I don't have because I don't get paid via eft. That's sooo unfair!!!!
