Inferior Quality of extremely expensive product

I have recently purchased a few pairs of socks, as well as a long sleeved shirt from Woolworths at centurion mall, at the most expensive price I have ever paid for socks, thinking that obviously if one pays more, it means you get a quality product, but no, it's ****pier quality than the stuff they sell at China mall. I have worn two pairs once, and after wearing them I had to throw them away as it had already torn. The one on the front by the toes, and the other below the heel. Now there is nothing wrong with my feet, nor with my shoes, this is just bad quality material and bad quality socks. Also I had very little time on my hands to fit on the shirt so I picked my size and paid for everything and left. As I got home, with my brand new shirt, that I paid over R350 for, I tried it on. Guess what?? It tore on the seam at the back of the shoulder. I took it back and showed it to one of the sales point people, and she said there is nothing she can do, the fault is mine and she cannot take the product back and replace it. I am very upset by this, as woolies items are damn expensive, but really **** quality.
